
Clara Lauw,. M.D, from Alhambra, CA realized early in her teen years that she wanted to become an OB/GYN Physician. While on a Career Day Field Trip, he hd the opportunity to shadow an OB/GYN and from the moment she witnessed the miracle of birth, her career path was sealed. She then enrolled in the Bio-Medical Professions Program at Stanford Medical School, where the foundation of her love for the biological sciences was laid. She obtained her Medical Degree from Stanford Medical School also. To further her goals in medicine, she has volunteered in Garfield Medical Center and Alhambra Hospital during her after school hours during her premed year. She has a big heart and is always helping the ones in need. She expresses her true passion and individuality through her occupation as an OB/GYN. She treats every patient like her own family member. She has special interest in high risk pregnancies. abnormal bleeding, disease prevention, and weight management. Her practice, OB/GYN Specialists, has cared for nearly 10,000 patients and delivers 600+ babies per year. Having her in our research group is such a blessing, because with her kind and care, we can further the thoughts in teenage minds, and change people lives.
